I'm still in shock after learning of Janna's sudden passing!  I had dinner with her just 2 weeks ago and she was telling me about her big birthday plans, and we were planning a fun trip together in August.

I really didn't know Janna very well in high school, and it wasn't until we were both at Tech that we got to know each other better. I was struck with how hilarious she could be...a completely irreverent sense of humor!  She never failed to make me laugh or lift my spirits. Janna possessed great insight, however, and offered spot-on advice when needed. She was known to "tell it like it is", which for many, was just what we needed to hear.  For her many friends, this is a profound loss. Janna was a dear, dear friend and I will miss her greatly.
