Johnnie will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He sang in the LHS choir,and was good friends with Larry Shackelford.

He was diagnosed with cancer and died a few months later. At the time, he was living in the Dallas area.

Johnnie was also served in the special military services as a Green Beret. He leaves behind his children and parents.
